With 7-years experience in language tutorial and education, I realised the key point of learning a second language is keeping the interests. My first teaching experience wasseven years ago in South Korea where I tried to let students know Chinese by introducing the evolution history of characters. Hence, the learners could have their own understandings about this ancient ideographic language. The effects seemed quite well. In Australia as a Chinese teacher, I have taught a number of Mandarin learners since the 2009, including businessmen, government officers, seniors, classes of junior students and pupils. I designed very different teaching materials and Chinese pedagogy to each or each group of the learner depending on their distinct needs. Their language skills were all improved dramatically. My major during the whole undergraduate and postgraduate studying time was always Teaching Language and Asian Studies, and I received both Mandarin Qualification Certificate in 2007 and Teaching Qualification Certificate of China in 2005. Apart from Mandarin, I also useKorean, some Mongolian, Japanese and Germen. To me, it is so much lucky and wonderful that my study can integrate with my teaching work.
