I have four years’ experience in education and have worked in schools both teaching and providing pastoral and administrative support. My degree and special interest are in history, particularly Australian history but having studied and taught an essay based subject my communication, essay and exam skills are transferrable.

My undergraduate degree included the study of the Cold War, Medieval Britain, the Northern Irish Troubles and Imperialism and Nationalism 1814-1945 specialising in Australia. My Honours dissertation a study of Child Migration to Australia through the Fairbridge Society in the 1950s and explored Anglo-Australian cultural relations and identities in this period.
